Pyre combines deep black Vietnamese lacquer with vivid crimson veining that suggests glowing embers, molten fissures, and heat moving beneath the surface. The pen is handcrafted over a natural wood core using repeated layers of natural lacquer that are cured and hand-polished for depth and gloss.

Small mother-of-pearl accents add cool flashes of iridescence against the fiery red patterning. The contrast between black lacquer, crimson movement, and shifting shell gives Pyre a dramatic character while preserving the refined finish of traditional lacquer work.
