ConCoPens Traditional Vietnamese Lacquer Fountain Pen - Bolide 2

Bolide 2 features a deep black Vietnamese lacquer base accented by clean, diagonal mother-of-pearl inlays that suggest the trail of a bright object crossing the night sky. The finish is created through multiple layers of natural lacquer, each carefully cured and hand-polished to build depth and a smooth, luminous surface.

The mother-of-pearl appears suspended beneath the lacquer rather than sitting on top of it, giving the pen a strong sense of dimensionality. Its natural shell inlay shifts between silver, blue, green, and violet tones depending on the viewing angle.
